Pays Basque - euskal Herria

Biarritz is an integral part of the Pays Basque, a region with a strong identity, a long history, forceful traditions, a language that is very much alive, Euskara (whose origins are lost in time) and a culture rich enough to have assimilated outside influences without ever disowning its roots.

It is a highly authentic, unspoilt land.
